What a fabulous place to host a Bridal Shower in San Francisco! Next fall I plan on taking a trip to my favorite city in the whole world. You bet I am going to have tea at Crown & Crumpet!

Crown & Crumpet Tea Salon Opens in new Ghirardelli Square

September 2008, San Francisco, CA- Crown & Crumpet, A Room with Tea and Wit, opens in the newly revamped Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco. Crown & Crumpet may be inspired by proper English tearooms, but owners Amy and Christopher Dean have truly brought the afternoon tea experience into the 21st century with a salon designed with colors that pop, and a fresh, stylish feel. The Deans liken their newest venture to a “tearoom that might have been opened by Paul Smith, Cathy Kidston and Vivienne Westwood” and have declared it a “doily-free zone”. The 1500 sq ft space will seat 45 guests inside the tearoom and an additional 20 in an outdoor seating area.There will also be a communal table and living room area which will be able to seat 20 guests and will serve as the perfect spot for a chic bridal shower, baby shower, or any intimate gathering. www.crownandcrumpet.com
