Wedding Cake Trends 2010

This is a quick pic from last week's wedding. Yum. I have noticed a popular trend this summer. I do like it. The cake is the focal point, and the flowers are secondary. Thank goodness we are moving away from the trend of having a major cascade of flowers flowing down the cake. Never cared for that. I wouldn't want to eat the piece that is poked a million times with rose stems. Yuck! This look is soft and elegant. Let the cake speak for itself.
