Chocolate Cosmos

Ok, so my last 2 weddings were filled with chocolate cosmos! I am now saying that Chocolate is still in. The cosmos were so beautiful and delicate. Did you know that you could grow them in your garden. Just visit www.chocolateflowerfarm.com located in Langley Washington. Not only do they sell chocolate cosmo plants, chocolate kissed delphinium and chocolate colored dahlias, but chocolate candles, chocolate flower seeds and chocolate itself. I want to live there! Among the chocolate.

Bridal Showers at Crown and Crumpet Tea Salon

What a fabulous place to host a Bridal Shower in San Francisco! Next fall I plan on taking a trip to my favorite city in the whole world. You bet I am going to have tea at Crown & Crumpet!

Crown & Crumpet Tea Salon Opens in new Ghirardelli Square

September 2008, San Francisco, CA- Crown & Crumpet, A Room with Tea and Wit, opens in the newly revamped Ghirardelli Square in San Francisco. Crown & Crumpet may be inspired by proper English tearooms, but owners Amy and Christopher Dean have truly brought the afternoon tea experience into the 21st century with a salon designed with colors that pop, and a fresh, stylish feel. The Deans liken their newest venture to a “tearoom that might have been opened by Paul Smith, Cathy Kidston and Vivienne Westwood” and have declared it a “doily-free zone”. The 1500 sq ft space will seat 45 guests inside the tearoom and an additional 20 in an outdoor seating area. There will also be a communal table and living room area which will be able to seat 20 guests and will serve as the perfect spot for a chic bridal shower, baby shower, or any intimate gathering. www.crownandcrumpet.com

Wedding Roses

By now all of you must know that I am a huge fan of Eurfloria roses, so when I walked by these roses at the Denver flower market yesterday I stopped dead in my tracks. I just had to take a pic of these dreamy flowers and a sniff. This is like sherbet ice cream to me, no maybe Italian gelato!

Visiting Flower Markets

Today I visited Steven's and Son wholesale flower market and brought one of my September brides along. We had a great time and accomplished so much. It was very helpful for the bride to see, smell and touch the flowers in person. It is so convenient to pull bunches of flower out of buckets and hold them together to see how they actually look. Three dimensional is much better than two dimensional (live in person compared to a magazine page or printout from the internet!) We also viewed the many different foliages available. Feel free to ask your wedding florist to take you to the flower market as well. It's a great experience.

Candy Buffets -The Latest in Wedding Favors

Candy buffets for weddings, bridal showers, corporate events and just about any type of party! How fun. The guests get to dive into an abundance of sweet treats to fill their bags, baskets, chinese take-out containers or just about anything that can hold their heart's desire of sugar. I love how the colors can compliment the flower scheme.

a portfolio of fresh flower arrangements by a boulder florist

Hello fellow bloggers,
It's dark, cold and rainy in boulder today so i thought it appropriate to add my own bit of sunshine. Randomly chosen, all fresh, all filled with heart.
