Real Weddings Meghan and Tim

This weekend's wedding belonged to Meghan and Tim. The bride loved orange, white and lime green. In her bouquet, I used white Dutch peonies, orange dahlias, mini green hydrangea and ornamental kale. One word for the color scheme, fresh! The wedding took place beside a pond complete with wandering geese. The ring bearer wore a mini orange gerbera daisy boutonniere and bright orange Crocs. Those pictures to follow...Best wishes to the both of you!

Rocky Mountain Bride Magazine

I am published! And I didn't even know it. Last summer my flowers were featured in Rocky Mountain Bride magazine. Lisa, was one of my favorite brides. I use her photos on my print material, everywhere that I can. Yeah! So exciting.

Real Weddings Tammy & Matt

Yesterday's wedding took place at Boulder's Red Lion Restaurant, located just a short drive up the Boulder canyon. The bride chose a soft palette of ivory and green roses, white ranunculus and white tulips, with a modern wrap of aspidistra leaves. Shamane of Shamane's Bake Shoppe created the gorgeous cake with a cascade of flowers and fruit. Summer wedding ceremonies at the Red Lion, take place alongside the bubbling Boulder Creek. Brides have the option of renting the beautiful aspen arch from The Red Lion, and I have the pleasure of decorating it. Congratulations Tammy and Matt!

Peonies and Roses

Yesterday's wedding at The Greenbriar Inn was filled with an abundance of peonies. Until I receive the professional pics, this one will have to suffice. "Sweet Avalanche" Eufloria roses and medium pink luscious peonies made the wedding soft, sweet and romantic.

Real Weddings Cynthia & David

Cynthia planned her Zen wedding at Peaceful Valley Ranch. Emphasis on the peaceful part. Her mantra "whatever happens, happens." When we toured the ranch last, there was 14" of snow on the ground. That was a mere three weeks ago. Today, a beautiful, peaceful day in the 80's. Cynthia chose tropical orchids to match her zen theme. They are striking, yet pure and elegant. Best wishes to you Cynthia & David.

Denver Botanic Gardens

So tell me, what do you think a florist does on his/her day off? Well, this florist visits the Denver Botanic Garden. The experience rejuvenates my soul! Yesterday was a beautiful day at the gardens. The peonies were blooming! Peonies-my most favorite flower in the entire world. It was truly a scratch n sniff experience with the lilac and iris in full bloom. I love their gift shop! Their buyer has the most exquisite taste. I had a bit of a picnic in the japanese garden. Me and my pb&j. I am blessed!
